(B)  Ex Parte Receipt of Information.  The court may not legally receive ex parte information which is not reflected in the presentence report.[395]

Curran, 926 F.2d 59, 63 (1st Cir. 1991) (resentencing required by court’s receipt of victim letters with information not contained in presentence report, and allusion to this information before imposing sentence harsher than the recommendation of the prosecution); United States v.
