Several grounds of removal and inadmissibility depend directly on sentence.  See § § 7.2-7.49, supra.  The following are examples of ineffective assistance relating to the immigration consequences of the sentence.  This list is meant to be suggestive, not exhaustive.  No doubt other possibilities will appear depending upon the client’s exact immigration and criminal situation.
