(A)  Racial Prejudice.  One of the most virulent forms of judicial bias is racial prejudice.[394]


[394] In re Chargin, 2 Cal.3d 617 (1970) (court censured for calling juvenile “an animal. . . .  Mexican people, after 13 years of age, its perfectly all right to go and act like an animal. . . .  You are lower than animals and haven’t the right to live in organized society — just miserable, lousy, rotten people.”).
