(A) Sentence Imposed of One Year. Many common convictions constitute aggravated felonies only if a sentence of one year or more was imposed for the offense. See § 7.24, infra. Therefore, a conviction falling in one of these categories is a safe haven if no sentence of one year or more is imposed.
