(F) Minimizing the restitution ordered. Defense counsel also seeks to minimize the amount of restitution ordered as part of the sentence. Note that the restitution ordered may have some relationship with the concept of the “loss to the victim” resulting from the offense of conviction, which can have important immigration consequences if it is in excess of $10,000. See § § 10.82-10.85, 19.74, infra.
