(A)  Credibility of Prosecution Witnesses.  If essential prosecution witnesses are themselves not citizens of the United States, community prejudice against them may impair their credibility, particularly if they have no lawful immigration status here.  Juries may also be prejudiced against prosecution witnesses who do not speak fluent English.
