Most, if not all, convictions that may be charged as aggravated felony sexual abuse of a minor offenses can also be charged as aggravated felony crimes of violence. However, an aggravated felony sexual abuse of a minor offense is not necessarily also a crime of violence, and vice versa. Certain convictions involving sex and minors arguably do not fall under either category.
