Two aggravated felony offenses require a loss to the victim in excess of $10,000 from the offense of conviction before the conviction will be considered an aggravated felony.  See § § 10.83 (fraud offenses), 10.84 (listed tax evasion offenses), infra.  Certain offenses are considered money laundering aggravated felonies if the amount of funds laundered was in excess of $10,000.  See § 10.85, infra.  See generally § 8.54, supra, concerning plea bargaining to avoid a deportable restitution order.  For a detailed discussion of loss and restitution orders, see § 19.74, infra.
