Prior to April 24, 1996, the single crime of moral turpitude deportation ground required a sentence imposed of one year or more for a conviction of a crime of moral turpitude before it would trigger deportation. See § 20.36, infra. A different rule now applies. See § § 10.79, 20.35, infra.
