                (D)  State Rehabilitative Relief.  In a jurisdiction, such as the Ninth Circuit, in which state rehabilitative relief is effective to eliminate a conviction for immigration purposes, or for purposes of enhancing the current sentence, see § § 11.19-11.20, infra, it may be possible to obtain such relief in the prior proceeding before sentencing in the current case, so as to prevent use of the prior to enhance the current sentence.
