         (A)  Medical grounds.  Some medical grounds of inadmissibility can be waived under INA § 212(g).  The DHS in its discretion can: waive inadmissibility based on HIV+ status for a person with certain citizen or permanent relatives; waive the requirement of medical vaccinations for certain reasons; and waive inadmissibility based on a physical or mental disorder that poses a threat to people or property if the noncitizen posts a bond.  There is no waiver here for drug abuse or addiction.
