The same practice of obtaining multiple certified copies of the clerk’s minutes, probation orders, judgment, and court reporter’s transcript of the ultimate plea and sentencing hearings are prudent, as were employed at the time the problematic original conviction and sentence were vacated.[23]  A copy of each should be given to the client, forwarded to immigration counsel, and kept in post-conviction counsel’s file.
