(B) Grounds of Inadmissibility Still Apply. While the noncitizen whose conviction occurred before admission is not subject to these grounds of deportation, s/he may be removed (excluded) on the basis of one or more grounds of inadmissibility.[307] This situation does free the person, however, from concerns about deportation based on a conviction for an aggravated felony, firearms conviction, or conviction for a crime of domestic violence, since these grounds of deportation do not have a parallel ground of inadmissibility.
