(B)  Crimes of Moral Turpitude.

 

Contempt of court is not inherently immoral.[53]

 

Board of Immigration Appeals:

Matter of C, 9 I. & N. Dec. 524 (BIA 1962) (also contempt of Congress).

 

Matter of P, 6 I. & N. Dec. 400 (BIA 1954) (Canadian criminal contempt conviction for refusing to obey an injunction requiring the noncitizen and others to desist from congregating around a vessel so that others could not load it, was not inherently vile, base, or immoral, or motivated by vile or base intent).
