(B)  Organization.  We have attempted to include all immigration and judicial decisions regarding potential aggravated felony and CMT safe havens within the following categories of criminal offenses:

 

1.         Controlled Substances Offenses.  See § § 8.2 ff., infra.

            2.         Crimes Against the Person.  See § § 8.7 ff., infra.

            3.         Crimes Against the Government.  See § § 8.20 ff., infra.

4.         Crimes Against Property.  See § § 8.37 ff., infra.

            5.         False Statement Offenses.  See § § 8.49 ff., infra.

            6.         Firearms Offenses.  See § 8.54, infra.

7.         Immigration Offenses.  See § § 8.55 ff., infra.

            8.         Motor Vehicle Offenses.  See § § 8.60 ff., infra.

9.         Non-Substantive Offenses. See § § 8.63 ff., infra.

10.       Offenses Involving the Family.  See § § 8.72 ff., infra.

            11.       Sexual Offenses.  See § § 8.76 ff., infra.

A given offense, however, may fall within more than one of these categories.  A subject-matter index is provided at the end of this volume in an effort to assist counsel in locating cases involving a specific type of criminal offense.
